Supporting Our Neighbors Impacted by the Marshall Fire

We are just beginning to wrap our heads around the impacts of the Marshall Fires, which destroyed or damaged more than 1,000 homes in Boulder County and altered the lives of REcolorado customers, consumers, and employees who live in and around the impacted areas. Our thoughts go out to all those who have lost so much. At the same time, we’re also proud of how resilient our community can be, coming together to support our neighbors affected by the fire.

As a Colorado business who cares about our community, assists our neighbors, and supports causes important to our customers, REcolorado is lending our support. For every donation made to the Colorado Association of REALTORS® Foundation in support of the Boulder County Fire Relief Fund, REcolorado will make a dollar-for-dollar matching donation up to $25,000 through Wednesday, February 9.

Thanks to the big hearts of our generous employees, customers, and partners, we have raised nearly $24,440 — that’s only $560 shy of our goal! If you would like to contribute, you may make a donation through this link. Please consider sharing this link widely with your family and friends as well. Together and through the CAR Foundation, we will help fund short- and long-term housing related relief to support our neighbors and lift them up during this difficult time.

If you or anyone you know has been affected by the Marshall Fires, you can also turn to REcolorado if you need help finding a rental home or short-term housing. We also have a database of dedicated, caring real estate professionals you can contact to discuss your housing needs.
