What Are The Must-Haves in a Colorado Outdoor Space?

In Denver, one of the most sought after home features is an outdoor space that is fit to enjoy all year round. But what are the growing trends? We wanted to know, what are our real estate professionals’ clients requesting when it comes to outdoor spaces? What seems to be most popular?

Depends on the location but most single family home buyers love functional outdoor space with a good sized patio and flat and functional yard space. A firepit or raised garden bed(s)are always a plus as well!

We live in such a beautiful state and most homebuyers want to be able to enjoy some outdoor living space. A beautiful patio to be able to relax on and entertain friends and family is a huge plus. We also have some pretty incredible views around us in this city, but the views come with a price. For some buyers, the price is worth it and a patio with a view is a top priority.

View, particularly mountain views are important. The ability to add features like a fire pit and/or outdoor kitchen are also on the list. Finally, like to see the deck/patio as an extension of the house, covered or able to be used year round. (Colorado Room as some builders are now calling them)

Depending on the exposure, adequate space for dining and conversing with their friends and family is the basis, built-in cooking/storage (outdoor kitchens) are becoming more prevalent as well. Rick Yerman
